About El Espiritu
Claremont High School is renowned for its memorable El Espiritu Yearbook. Over the years, its editors and staff have worked hard to produce a book that serves as a reflection of life experiences gained at this prestigious school.
Yearbook is composed of three main categories: copy/layout, business, and photography. These groups each specialize in different aspects of this student-run business that make up the final book. Copy/layout consists of writing stories, interviewing students and designing spreads. The business group works on selling/pitching ads and managing our finances. Photography includes taking pictures of campus life and taking clubs and making sure that the yearbook has an abundance of quality action shots.
In addition to working hard on producing the El Espiritu Yearbook, our diverse staff members contribute to the friendly work atmosphere with the common goal of creating something that students can look back on and recall their high school years. The Claremont High School Yearbook Staff, El Espiritu, consists of approximately 37 students from 9th through 12th grade with duties ranging from photographers, to writers, to editors. This student-run class functions as a small business that produces a 400 page record of the year in 8 months.
